North Bethesda Neighborhoods

North Bethesda is a rapidly evolving community, with the full complement of homes of all types, shopping, recreational and cultural activities and centers, employment centers, and access to transit and other forms of transportation. It is currently developing into a modern urban center, and the citizens and planners are working hard to ensure that it improves as it grows, with walkable communities, pocket parks and public spaces, bike pathways, community shopping, and viable transit. There are three Metro Red Line stations, Twinbrook, White Flint, and Grosvenor. In addition, the MARC commuter train line has a Garrett Park station. Major road connections are I-270, I-495 ("the beltway"), and Rockville Pike (Rt. 355).

I am the sponsor for the community forum www.FarmlandNeighbors.com, and write a local blog, www.NorthBethesda.blogspot.com. The community forum site has a button for Local Development Projects, as well as links to swim clubs, schools, and other amenities.
